10.17 Web Services Release Notes

The 10.17 Software Release is scheduled to be deployed June 9th at 0200Z.  The downtime will be approximately 2 hours.  The Software Release will include the following (please review the lab WSDL for further information regarding the new features and enhancements):

Enhancements:

  • RouteSearch - this endpoint now supports requesting J Routes, RNAV T Routes, and RNAV Q Routes.  The SID and STAR support has been enhanced as follows:

    • V Airways, J Routes, RNAV T Routes, and RNAV Q Routes support SID and STARs.

    • For ATC Recent IFR Routes, Coded Departure Routes, and FAA Preferred Routes if a SID and STAR is provided the results will be filtered to only return routes containing the provided SID and STAR.

  • For the RouteBriefing and NavLog requests, an enhanced message is now returned if there is an issue with the provided route.  Examples:

    • RouteBriefing

      • Previous - code:"Webservice.SystemError", Message:"No Value"

      • Updated - code:"Webservice.RouteBriefingError", message:"Fix KWANG is not on route V186."

    • NavLog

      • Previous - code:"Webservice.SystemError","message":"We are sorry, but the system was unable to process your last request."

      • Updated - code:"FlightPlanner.VerificationError", message:"Fix KWANG is not on route V186."

  • For the NavLog, AmendPilotProfile and RetrievePilotProfile requests, the valid range of the fuelBurnRate field was increased to 99999.9.
