10.10 Software Release
The 10.10 Software Release is scheduled to be deployed on November 13th at 0200Z. The downtime will be approximately 2 hours. The Software Release will include the following (please review the lab WSDL for further information regarding the new features and enhancements):
New Web Services:
EvaluateDepartureTime - This new endpoint brings the Web Site Evaluate Departure Time flight planning capability to web services. The EvaluateDepartureTime provides a summarization of the forecasted TAF and adverse conditions that a flight will encounter over a range of departure times.
OptimizeAltitude - This new endpoint brings the Web Site Altitude Optimization flight planning capability to web services. The OptimizeAltitude request a summary of estimated time enroute and fuel consumption for up to five (5) different altitudes for a given flight plan.
RetrieveSidsORStars - This new endpoint will return a list of SIDs or STARs with transition fixes for a given airport, where SID is Standard Instrument Departure and STAR is Standard Terminal Arrival Route.
Enhancements:
NavLog - a new optional parameter, aircraftType, is now available in the NavLog request. Providing an aircraft type will allow the system to use the default aircraft characteristics when generating a NavLog for that aircraft type when aircraft characteristics are not provided in the NavLog request.
Addition of ADIZ penetration information to flight plan responses - for FileFlightPlan, AmendFlightPlan, ActivateFlightPlan, and RetrieveFlightPlanRequest if a versionRequested value of 20180620 (or later) is specified, the response will contain a boolean parameter identifying if the route of flight penetrates the ADIZ. If the versionRequested is prior to 20180620, the ADIZ penetration information will not be returned in the response.
